Mirror Shield Spell

A protective spell that reflects negative energy away from you, like a magical mirror that sends harmful intentions back to their source.

How to Cast the Mirror Shield Spell

1. Clean the mirror
   Use regular water(and cleaner) to gently wipe the mirror, focusing your thoughts on clearing stagnant energy and preparing it for protection. For deeper cleansing, you can also use moon water or pass the mirror through sage smoke to purify and amplify its spiritual charge.
2. Set your intention
   Hold the mirror and say:
   “This mirror reflects all harm away. No negativity shall pass.”
3. Charge the mirror
   Place it under moonlight, surround it with protective crystals, or simply hold it and visualize a shield forming.
   Recharge it whenever you feel it’s needed, after emotional days, before rituals, or when redoing the spell.
4. Use it
   • Hang or place the mirror facing outward near your door, window, or workspace.
   • Carry a small mirror in your bag for personal shielding.

Sigils to use

You can draw a sigil directly onto the mirror using kajal, a whiteboard marker, or even by lightly fogging the surface with your breath and tracing the sigil with your fingertip. For longer-lasting options, mark it on the back of the mirror, on its frame, or tuck a paper behind it with the symbol you’ve chosen.

Examples:

• Algiz rune (ᛉ) – classic symbol of protection and defense
• Pentagram – balance and shielding
• Custom sigil – create one from a phrase like “I am protected” or “Return to sender”
• Reflective sigil – designed to bounce energy back (can be circular or mirrored shapes)
