Washing your face at the end of the day is itself a ritual of closure. As you remove what you applied in the morning, consciously release the working. Let the day’s energy wash away. You are stepping back across the threshold from the charged state you inhabited during the day to your private self.

Wash your brushes regularly, physically and energetically. Tools that accumulate buildup without clearing can carry contradictory energies that muddy future workings. Simple soap and water applied with clear intention is entirely sufficient.
